Introduction Seminar: Hamburg, October 1-3, 2015

A facilitation training series (2015 – 2017) on the basics of process-oriented facilitation. The Introduction seminar can be attended as a single seminar or as the entry seminar into the whole series. Content of the seminar This seminar cycle is a contribution to the needs of a globalized and migrating world for skills to facilitate human interactions and group process in organizations, community and personal relationships. Deep Democracy and Worldwork are terms that describe methods, attitudes and skills to facilitate group process in various contexts. They emerged out of Process Work (also know as Process-oriented Psychology) and are being used all over the world to facilitate social fields of tension, stake-holder dialogues as well as to resolve conflict and steering meetings and discussions. The focus of this approach lies on its inclusiveness of different levels of perception; besides content and goals there is an emphasis on body sensations, body symptoms, dreams, fantasies, altered states of consciousness and communication blocks that influence the atmosphere, contain valuable information and self-organizing forces for the given group or organization. The theoretical content will be put to practice through working in dyads and small groups. The facilitation techniques will be practiced in large group process with the group present.
