However, each of us has within us incredible abilities and powers to facilitate world change, individually, and together. In this seminar, we will utilize <a href=\"http:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Process_Oriented_Psychology\"><\/a><\/span>Process Oriented Psychology <span style=\"font-family:georgia;\">techniques to explore our powers to facilitate change. We will discover our own unique gifts we bring to this work, and practice as either identified facilitators, participants, or participant facilitators. In groups we participate in, we have been taught to give our powers away to the identified leader.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family:georgia;\">In this seminar, we will explore how we can at any moment, anywhere, pick up our role as participant facilitator, and move towards the position that we are, each and every one of us acting alone and especially together, capable of changing the world. We will explore our inner direction and outer world changer using the arts as a<\/span> <span style=\"font-family:georgia;\">path of conflict facilitation. The seminar will consist of Israelis, Palestinians, Process Work students from around the world, and interested others from many different countries, coming to support and be part of the process.<\/p>\n<p><\/span><span style=\"font-family:georgia;\">This seminar will focus on:<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-family:georgia;\">Art, creativity, and conflict resolution<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family:georgia;\">Religion, spirituality, war and peacemaking<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family:georgia;\">The basics of Worldwork methods of conflict facilitation<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family:georgia;\">Earth based, indigenous, shamanistic methods of facilitation<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family:georgia;\">Tools to break cycles of revenge<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family:georgia;\">Working with trauma in ourselves, our loved ones, our clients, our community<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family:georgia;\">The power of the participant facilitator<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family:georgia;\">Creation of conflict facilitation teams <\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-family:georgia;\"><br \/><span style=\"font-weight: bold; color: rgb(255, 102, 0);\">Facilitators<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family:georgia;\"><span style=\"font-weight: bold; color: rgb(255, 102, 0);\">Dr. Najah Mansara<\/span>, from the Palestinian Authority Territories. She is a facilitator, social activist, and trainer; has presented workshops in many different topics of her expertise, including the effects of the Israeli Palestinian conflict on children and families, and other aspects of working with trauma. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family:georgia;\"><span style=\"font-weight: bold; color: rgb(255, 102, 0);\">Gary Reiss<\/span> LCSW, PhD, certified trainer in Process Oriented Psychology. He is the author of Beyond War and Peace in the Arab Israeli Conflict, and four other books. He has three new books coming out in 2009. Dr. Reiss has led conflict work groups in Israel with Israelis and Palestinians. Dr. Reiss has also worked with conflict between Orthodox and Secular Jews, and between different factions in the Druse community.
